Sarah Cammarata is an intelligence analyst at a corporate intelligence firm in the United Kingdom, specializing in global investigations into white-collar crime. She is a recognized expert in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), serving as a trainer for the Centre for Investigative Journalism and a member of the leadership team for the non-profit, UK OSINT Community, where she promotes diversity and advances OSINT capabilities in the UK.
Prior to her current role, Sarah was a journalist with over four years of experience. She worked at Stars and Stripes, covering the congressional response to military affairs, and at POLITICO as a senior digital producer and defense reporter, covering the US Coast Guard, the Pentagon, and Congress.
Sarah holds an MA in War Studies with distinction from King’s College London, where she researched extremism, political violence, terrorism, radicalization, and intelligence. An excerpt of her thesis, analyzing how alt-right narratives move from the fringe to the mainstream, was published by the Global Network on Extremism and Technology.
